August 16, 2024 – The Bethel-Tate Tigers varsity girls' soccer team opened their season with a solid 4-0 victory against the Goshen Warriors.

Bethel-Tate established control early, going up 2-0 by halftime with goals from Zoey Sandker and Maddie Fischer. The second half saw additional goals from Alysa Carnahan and Ayla Jodrey, securing the Tigers' win. Zoey Sandker, Maddie Fischer, and Ayla Jodrey also contributed key assists. Defensively, the team earned a shutout, with Ally Thompson guarding the goal in the first half and Addysyn Bohl in the second.

"This was a good start to the season and another opportunity to improve," said the Bethel-Tate coach Dan Fischer.

The Tigers are now 1-0-0 and are looking forward to their next game on August 20th, when they will face the Blanchester Wildcats on the road. Kickoff at 5:00pm.
